Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of No Courage

No Courage - anyone can do it

I did not clap when you changed
your gender, it was not
an act of great
spunk.

I did not clap when you came out
of the closet, it was of your
choice to unlock the
trunk.

I did not clap when you let the
world know you thought
you were someone
offbeat,

There is no courage to behold,
shouting you are not what
you appear, rather
than remaining
discreet.
