Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of My Wit

My Wit - let me use it

If I could see past the spot I
last saw myself, I could
see into the
future with
ease.

The less I see where I've been,
the better my chances
to see the forest
and the
trees.

Tomorrow will come if I'm ready
or not, best I know what
it is bringing
along with
it,

Just let me stare straight ahead,
and not focus on where I am -
looking past myself
requires all my
wit.
