Quatrain of My Orchard

My orchard - growing new love

I have pruned the limbs of
my disgrace in order
to reap the
fruit of my
contempt,

I wish to plant distaste for
immoral growth that hate
has forced on me
in a vile
attempt.

I have tried to live a life as
sweet as the budding of
a tree, but found
the world
rotten,

I shall cultivate loving relationships
to trim evil I find growing
in this love orchard I've
been caught
in.
