Quatrain of Merely Mined

Merely Mined - dig deeper

The minute I was born, I knew
everything a man
could know, no
teaching to
me,

I have been told the opposite
was true, a blank slate
is what my knowledge
would
be.

I wasn't fooled, I took what I
knew and hid it away,
no one could take
it from my
mind,

God doesn't put blank brains
on the planet so they have
to struggle, no sir, He
gives us every idea,
they just have to be
mined.
