Quatrain of Meadow Walking

Meadow Walking - it was the beginning

It was near a walnut grove, in a
meadow next to a river's edge,
where I first encountered
our love
decree,

The air was brisk and clean, the
sky open to dreams, and you
were walking in green
grass next to
me.

The moment was ever so blissful,
the world was turning slowly,
the countryside made
a perfect
backdrop,

I remember our first eye to eye
contact, our first kiss, the
warmth of your hand in
mine; a love I knew
could never stop.
