Quatrain of Living Today

Living Today - not in the past

Take me back to the days when
life felt finer, when worries
were far less
on the
mind,

It wasn't yesterday, but it might
have been the day before,
it was much
easier to
unwind.

The further back I go the less
haunting there is in my
thoughts, the best
must be saved for
last,

I need to bring my ideas forward
if I wish to find the perfect
world, worry will always
stay with me, but I
cannot live in the
past.
