Quatrain of Listening To God

Listening To God - I do

My soul is a spiritual ark for transporting
two sides of every kind
of thought, the good,
and the
bad.

I will be prepared to avoid drowning in
sin when the flood of evil
comes to cleanse foul
hearts now
mad.

It may take forty days and forty nights
to wash away the worst
that Satan has to
overwhelmingly
offer,

But I will have two sides of every thought
in my spiritual ark because
I listened to God - I am not
a rebellious
scoffer.
