Quatrain of Liking Strangers

Liking Strangers - not so much

I have never met a stranger I
liked, companionship
only came after
a long
while,

Strangers cannot be trusted,
they must be looked
upon as if they're
evil and
vile.

If I wish to live a long life, I
cannot trust anyone I
don't know, I must
wait until we
meld,

In many ways the human is a
mere animal and can't be
trusted - goodness
is not
compelled.
