Lighted Darkness - hard to see

I have been in the darkness
that surrounds your
soul, it caught me by
surprise,

At first it seemed so deeply
penetrating, I thought it
might be daylight in
disguise,

Darkness is light given off by
the sins you carry around,
it keeps life's road
unseen,

Because of sin within your soul,
familiar darkness has one
blessing, you don't need
sunscreen.
