Quatrain of Leave Behind

Leave Behind - bad ideas

I thought mankind could leave
this planet, consent to
leave all bad ideas
in a dust
heap,

Now, I believe this impossible,
mankind is too foolish to
watch splendid ideas
hatch, in order
to reap.

The new planet would soon be
overrun with same old
trash we have
here on
earth,

One point for sure, mankind
cannot escape from
his thoughts, even
when they have
no worth.
