Quatrain of Learned Nothing

Learned Nothing - happens all the time

Because you are old, doesn't
mean you have one good
earthly lesson
to teach
me.

You can brag about your years,
odds are, you weren't
paying attention,
enjoy your
tea.

You never buckled down and
searched for truth each
day, or left your
bias at the
door,

Take what you've learned to
your grave, you know
little I can use; it's
your ideas I must
ignore.
