Quatrain of Last Word

Last Word - when someone dies,
there must be a word spoken

When a star way off in the
universe finds its end
and dies, there's
nothing left to
bury,

It simply burns out becoming
particles of ash never
to be seen again,
no soul to
tarry.

Without a coffin or urn to face
and speak a last blessing,
a star vanishes
as a fiery
token,

Be glad your not a star, you're
an earthly creature, when
you go, there shall
be a last word
spoken.
