Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of In A Mirror

In A Mirror - just looking

The first time I looked at myself
in a mirror, I thought
I was looking at
you,

I saw nothing in the glass that I
saw in myself, but I
did see features
askew.

Until the mirror was introduced,
I had no reason to think
you and I weren't the
same,

But my reflection dumbfounded
me to no end, I thought I was
an image of God - what a
shame.
