Quatrain of Having Babies

Having Babies - pits getting old

When my children were born,
I loved them like heavenly
babies, they were so
tiny,

As they got older, I sometimes
wondered if my love could
survive teenagers so
whiny.

But now that they have grown I
yearn for them to be babies
again, to hold and to
hug,

I shall love my children no matter
how old they get, but I miss
my babies like a hard
drug.
