Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of Harder To Manage

Harder To Manage - life

As you age, life becomes harder to
manage, tougher to cope with
what you know; yesterday
is what you
yearn.

The longer you live, the more there
is to deal with, the more the
soul has to carry; more
moral garbage to
spurn.

Contrary to what you think, the longer
you stay alive, the stronger
the winds of sin whip
your face without
reprieve,

Living is best when you know so very
little and think you know it all,
while having the physical
ability to act stupid
and naive.
