Not by force
Respect cannot be garnered by force,
it must be earned with
honest intentions
in open
play,
Don't expect to find what you want by
shoving my soul around,
as if I'll follow
what you
say.
If it where easy to gain the respect you
may deserve, you
wouldn't have to
prove your
worth,
There is no shortcut to standing with me,
get out your ideas, and tell
to me why you
are on this
earth.
