Quatrain of Flustered Soul

Flustered Soul - not a good way to go

I tried banishing all thoughts
of you when I
was a young
whippersnapper,

Over the years you kept
coming back, as if I
had snared you like a
trapper.

As hard as I have tried to
forget you and all the
feelings you once
mustered,

You're still in my mind; I reckon
I will go to my grave trapped
in a soul fully
flustered.
