Quatrain of Fleeting Reason

Fleeting Reason - we see when we age

When we are young and clever it
is difficult to see ourselves
as being real
stupid,

But as we grow older we begin
to realize our reasoning
is as fleeting as
cupid.

We are born stubborn, it makes
us strong, but it keeps
us from getting life
right,

Even when we realize how wrong
we are, we hang on to our
stupidity with all our
might.
