Quatrain of Finding Yourself

Finding Yourself - it's not easy

You found yourself by looking in
a mirror, your acquaintance
came totally by
surprise,

If you had seen yourself earlier
you would have broken the
mirror knowing reflections
are lies.

Whoever you are or whatever you
wish to be, is not what you
see with your own two
eyes,

You cannot find the individual you
are, simply by observing what
may or may not be: what
you see may be a
disguise.
