Pair Of Shoes - old

When I struck out on life's
highway, my shoes
were squeaky
and brand
new,

I thought I would certainly
find life's answers
before my soles
wore
through,

Now, here I am, in need of a
another pair of shoes,
and I am still
not a
winner,

I fear I may run out of shoes
to buy if I don't stop
searching for
happiness as
if I'm still a
beginner.
