Quatrain of Familiar Road

A path finder

I have been following a road I have
followed before, this time
it is not going where
it once
did,

I am praying to find the old road,
I hope it still goes where
I need to be, if it
doesn't, heaven
forbid.

I hate to take an unknown path,
I could wander the hills of
sin and never reach
where I wish to
go,

I do not search for my goals without
a plan, I always take a road
that I have traveled
before, a road I
know,
