Facing Truth - help is not on the way

If you are waiting for a faith healer
to come and rescue thy soul
from your faithless
wandering,

Be thee not disappointed when a
mender doesn't show up; lift
you from strenuous
pondering.

There is no magical man or woman
who will fix all that is wrong
with the world and its
misery,

Remember, you can take matters into
your hands, but you run the risk
you too will face redemptive
injury.
