Quatrain of Facing Yourself

Facing Yourself - try it

You have never faced your true
self, without excusing a
flaw here and
there,

It is natural to wish to be perfect,
excusing a small transgression
just seems
fair.

The problem arises when you meet
other people, they can see
right through
imperfection.

Better to face all positive notions
along with your flaws, you will
be accepted more easily
and treated with more
affection.
