Yorktown Disciple
Quatrain of Doorstep Burdens

Lay them down

I must lay my burdens on your
doorstep, I cannot
carry them
anymore,

I must ask you to bring them
with you on your own
time, I'm too
sore.

My burdens do not involve you,
these are all mine
from a life of
sin,

None of my burdens will transfer
to you, keep them wrapped
by the bag they're
in.
