Deluded Truth - not so real

I was beguiled by fluttering
eyes and sweet lips,
tricked into
believing in
love,

Before I knew what was
happening, my mind
was rock by a
push and a
shove.

I never knew how powerful
a deceptive feeling could
be, until I met you
for the first
time,

Love isn't just diverted wants,
it is deluded truth, but it
makes life's mountains
easier to
climb.
