Daily Fear - needing help

I face the day with trepidation,
every new awakening
brings with it great
pause,

As beautiful the sun may be,
mankind needs God's word,
therefore and just
because.

The world cannot be destroyed
by man, but the damage
wrought, may be
total,

Let us bow our heads and pray;
struggling gumption is real
and not fundamentally
anecdotal,
