Quatrain of Critical Cord

Critical Cord - real trauma

As a child I rarely cried, usually
when real trauma struck
a critical
cord,

Now that I am old, I cry all the
time, I see the end coming,
I see the
Lord.

I'm going to miss the experiences
I have had, some good,
some terribly
bad,

Perhaps, once I am on the path to
heaven, I will stop crying
and be, oh, so very
glad.
