Coming Of Age - no mirrors please
Perhaps it is better not to look
into a mirror, no reason
to know you're truly
ugly,
Take a look at an unreflective
surface, pretend you're
beautiful while acting
smugly.
Society has been dramatically
changed since the mirror
came onto the world
stage,
We now think of ourselves by
what we see externally,
instead of what we are
inside when we
come of age.
