Quatrain of Civil Rights

Civil Rights - it has become
meaningless

"Civil Rights" has become a worn
out cliché, it is used to
explain the spinning
of another
dare.

Once confined to equal rights,
it now has taken on its
very own meaning
from here to
there.

No longer do I pay attention
to whining of others, I
would rather be
a victim and
cry,

If you complain about civil rights
once more, I'm going to stop
telling the truth,
instead, I'll
lie.
