Changing Plans - flip of a coin

In the beginning, God sent me a
woman, she slipped right
through my
hands,

It was a mistake that has lasted
a lifetime, the Almighty
offered no other
plans.

My relationship with God and me
was shaken, when the love
of my life didn't work
out,

My love of God has held on by the
tip of fingered faith, but how
different my life would have
been had it taken God's
original route.
