Can't Pay - not always

If I only knew how much I owe
your soul, I would pay
up with no
grudge,

If the price is too high I will sit
in God's Court and
let Him be the
judge,

I came into this world believing
I could always pay
my dues, bar
none,

As it turns out, I have a fallible
spirit, sometimes I can't
pay whatever the
sum.
