Quatrain of By Myself

By Myself - just me

When I am alone, it is not unusual
to find I am all by myself,
no one else
around,

It is eerie and very silent, I only
have me to talk to, even
God is nowhere to be
found.

These are times I can contemplate
my life, ask question of my
soul in search of my
spirit,

I would like to understand myself and
get to know me, then I could
hunt down the silence and
commandeer it.
