Quatrain of Be My Beacon

Be My Beacon - I need a light

I haven't figured out if you
are brilliant or stupid,
you puzzle me
to no
end.

One day you seem sincere,
the next, you couldn't
care less to
be my
friend.

I need a beacon in the night
that remains lit all of
the time, not
someone to
beguile,

It will be quite awhile before
I give myself to you, you
may be brilliant but
you are often
infantile.
