Quatrain of Asking For Redemption

Asking For Redemption - if only

If I could change my past, turn
back the clock for certain
one time, would my life
be different
today?

I earnestly hope I would be a
better example of what a
man should be and the
morals he should
convey.

It doesn't seem too much to ask
for a do over, after all, when
I started my life I
thought it a mere
dream,

It wasn't until I grew much older,
I realized it was for real; there
is no going back, only
a soul to
redeem.
