Becoming Perfect

I have not become perfect nor
am I more moral, as
I have grown
old,

I am the same unappealable
person I was when
young, so I am
told.

I always thought I was virtuous,
as I realized my character
changes were
few,

I believe God made me the way
I am now, same as I was
when my Mom came
due.
