No Past Effect

Yesteryear has little influence over the present
day, nothing can be moved
because the past is
firm.

The decisions we make can take into account
of the days long ago if there is
something we can
learn.

It may be we have moved on so far from where
we've come there's nothing to study
and nothing to take
claim,

When we shoot for a better life the best we
might be apt to do, is use a fore day
in order to take better
aim.
