There is pleasure in sin but
the cost to the soul
can be pitifully
high,
The pleasure received must
be weighted against a
mind that oft' doth
cry.
Is the redemption you hope
to find equal the cost
the spirit must
pay?
Do you suffer awhile and wait
for the uplift that comes
when you
pray?
