Yorktown Disciple

Where I Was

I left to where I was headed,
out on a road I
had never
been,

I wished to engage in life's
giving and meet
my spiritual
twin.

It was the best decision I
ever made, my
reasoning was
sound,

I couldn't stay where I was,
morally alone, until
my twin was
found.
