Life Of Lemons

My life has been such a lemon,
sometimes sour,
sometimes
sweet.

I have been fortunate to hang on
a tree, and not fall
down to your
feet.

If someone should cut a slice out
of me, I will make their
life grotty
sour,

Just let me hang freely from a limb
and see the world as
I happily
scour.
