Allowing Memories

Allow memories to drift about
in the mind, they're
hard to
dispel,

They do little to help you see
ahead, merely have
a story to
tell.

Humble virtue in memories, glad
times or perhaps
those quite
sad,

If only we could decide which
to choose, memories
wouldn't be half
bad.
