Yorktown Disciple
Desire & Wisdom

If desire is not conditioned by
wisdom ever profound,
it surely needs a
transformation,

A beguiled wish needs to be tempered by what is
reliably known of
creation.

Nothing worth having is seldom
free, no cause to surmise
about a coming life
surprise,

Desire left alone will devastate
the heart, reason keeps it
from slipping past the
wise.
