Yorktown Disciple
My Burdens

Whenever I must carry more
than I can lift, I turn
to my God
delight,

He rarely helps me with my
quest, but gives advice;
gives me the
fight.

There are times when my
burdens are crushing,
I sit to have a
scotch.

My prayer is to learn how to
quit, God can do the
heavy lifting:
I'll watch.
