Some Sugar

I touched some sugar when no
one was observing, they
told me it was
bad.

I hoped a little sweetness would
liven my spirits, sure enough
I was never
sad.

Without the nurturing of a sugar
plum, life appears to
become awfully
bitter,

Always taste a little love-roll every
day, it will assure your
soul will forever
glitter.
